Visit on campus to learn more about RIT MUSE

Thank you for taking the time to meet with me and learn more about the Museum Studies Program at RIT. It is always a pleasure to share how we approach learning by doing and storytelling through objects—whether through our community-collaboration-based exhibition projects or our NEH-funded multispectral imaging work in partnership with Imaging Science. Our program emphasizes hands-on learning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and meaningful engagement with cultural heritage.

Students have opportunities to work directly with collections, archives, exhibitions, and community partners while developing practical skills that prepare them for a wide range of careers in museums, archives, libraries, galleries, parks, and other cultural organizations.

We hope you find a home at RIT—or wherever best supports your goals, interests, and aspirations. We would love to welcome you back for another visit. Join us at the Undergraduate Research Symposium on July 30. Later this fall, attend our Museum Studies meet-and-greet at Genesee Country Village & Museum on October 4, 2026.

You can join me for MUSE 220: Introduction to Museums on Tuesdays from 2:00–3:15 p.m., sit in on Introduction to Digital Cultural Heritage with Samaya on Tuesdays from 5:00–6:15 p.m., or attend both classes to experience the breadth of our program—from collections and exhibitions to digital heritage, imaging, and emerging technologies.
